The highest priority of the nuclear industry is to ensure safety of nuclear facilities and deliver on international nuclear and radiation safety commitments.
One way to ensure safety is through a full range of activities aiming to determine whether products and processes fulfil relevant requirements, i.e., conformity assessment.
During the FH1 Project, conformity assessment will be carried out in various forms (tests, inspections, acceptance, etc.).
Such assessment is required to determine whether products meet mandatory requirements during the incoming inspection, the installation, during and after the manufacture, and during the commissioning.
It is expected that properly certified third-party organizations will carry out conformity assessment on the FH1 Project.
This page contains information on the conformity assessment procedure, methods and participants.
